Subject: WAD2MAP conversion

I did a few updates to the QuakeDev pages,
one of them including a few thoughts on
WAD2MAP conversion.

Is somebody actually working on this? Iff,
does your algorithm differ significantly
from my approach?

Does anybody have a pointer to a working
code for 2D polygon partition? I had a look
at the Joseph O'Rourke book, but doing
a triangulization first, and than merging
them again seems a bit of overkill. Usually
we will deal with simple polygons and very
few vertices. Any references?

No, using a BSP is not a good idea :-).
