Sure. You will not be able to combine Quake and DOOM textures. To be
able to mix needs a good palette matching.

Nope. The mipmaps are in the BSP file.

I checked the worklog, and did not find the note the Uffe Friis
mentioned. For all I know, it is still in the WAD2.
